About Christofle

Christofle was founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle and became famous for silver-plated tableware made with the new electroplating process it brought to France in the 1840s. Christofle silver has set the tables of royal palaces, grand hotels, the Orient Express and the ocean liner Normandie.
