About Denby

Denby has made stoneware in the village of Denby, Derbyshire, England, since 1809, after a rich seam of clay was found during the building of a local road. The Bourne family built the pottery into a company known for tough, oven-friendly stoneware with handsome glazes. Patterns such as Greenwheat, Imperial Blue and Regency Green are made to be used every day, and they last.
