The Homer Laughlin China Company was founded in 1871 in East Liverpool, Ohio, and later moved across the river to Newell, West Virginia. It became one of the largest dinnerware makers in America, best known for Fiesta, the colorful dinnerware introduced in 1936 that is still loved and collected today.
