Lenox Crystal
About Lenox
Lenox began in 1889, when Walter Scott Lenox and Jonathan Coxon opened the Ceramic Art Company in Trenton, New Jersey. Its warm ivory china soon set the standard for American fine dining, and in 1918 Woodrow Wilson ordered the first American-made state service for the White House from Lenox. Later presidents including Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan followed. Patterns such as Autumn, Holiday and Hancock have graced American tables for generations, and Lenox crystal and flatware match many of them.
