Metlox Poppytrail Vernon China
About Metlox Poppytrail Vernon
Metlox Potteries was founded in Manhattan Beach, California, in 1927. Its Poppytrail dinnerware, named for California's state flower, became a West Coast favorite, and in 1958 Metlox bought the designs of Vernon Kilns, adding the Vernonware line. Patterns such as California Ivy, Red Rooster and Homestead Provincial remain much loved. The factory closed in 1989.
