Minton China
About Minton
Thomas Minton founded his pottery in Stoke-on-Trent in 1793, and Minton grew into one of the most admired English china makers of the Victorian era, praised for its majolica, tiles and finely gilded porcelain. Its bone china dinnerware patterns, including Haddon Hall, Bellemeade and Ancestral, were favorites for elegant tables. Minton joined Royal Doulton in 1968, and its patterns are now sought mainly on the secondhand market.
